friday was definitely a day of mixed feelings...

i attended my last award ceremony in the company... receiving my 5 years long service award... it was so strange when i received the plaque from my CEO... afterall, i will be leaving in 2 weeks' time... although quite a few of my colleagues told me not to feel strange as i really did gave my all in the past 5 years in the company, so i truly deserve the award. but still it was a strange feeling...

then after the award ceremony... the time i dreaded most for the whole week... having the talk with my CEO... somehow i managed to avoid him since the morning with all my meetings... it wasn't that horrifying, he was pretty nice about it... saying that he "missed the boat" to talk to me since i tendered while he was away... i was secretly happy when he said to me that i was one of the "brighter stars" in the company... glad he appreciated my enthusiasm, my passion and my drive... at least, i felt that i will leave on a good note... at least i don't think i will be feeling like a trash when i leave... :) hey... i get to go to the retreat next week! yipee!!!
