today is valentine's day... a day to celebrate love...
love for your partner? love for your family? love for your favourite burger?
had an event today to celebrate the expression of love with the launch of my company's men's body spray. yes... i am not kidding you... a QSR selling body spray. it is a scent of seduction with a hint of flame-grilled meat! yes... if you want your man to smell like your favourite meat (hmmm...)... FIRE MEETS DESIRE is what you are looking for! haha...
so what other irony? my event host happened to be a dj who announced his split from his wife the day before!!! however, he was as professional as he could. the client was as professional too... until a tabloid's reporter came to the event to interview him and came to me for comments for his split! i don't understand why she must ask the client for the comment of his private life. oh well, i hope i answered as professionally as i could!
so there goes another day for us marketers to find more ways to make some money from the silly lovebirds! haha! more like creating more work! happy valentine's day to all my friends...

Secondly, was reading all about your Fire meets Desire thingy on the net the day before it's launch..thought it was quite cool...the couple meal & the free perfume thing...wonder how it smells.."sniff sniff"...haha (pssst, I am replenishing my perfume soon..*hint hint)..haha.
Seriously, hope it went well, something diff coming from a fastfood...
Thirdy, the split thingy! OK, I am a diehard fan of Class 95FM (partly FD stays around my place...each time he passes by, I go gaga...haha! Juz admire him for the flow of words from, most of the times lah)..
OK, back to the split. I was so shocked abt it. Like some readers mentioned, Glenn was so lovey dovey on air, sharing about his love life with the listeners...then the bomb! Haiz...tragedy..what a V-day for this couple.
Anyway, that's life, a day at a time...that reminds me, after 4 days off, it's back to work tomorrow! You have a wonderful week ahead ya!

Happy Valentine's Day too!
the event went ok, but realised singaporeans very shy, many singles came for the perfume then got turned away because it is for couples. (had to do all the PR thingy and getting screamed at by a irritating guy!!!). haha... the body spray has mixed review... anyway, glenn was very professional on that day.
at least you had 4 days off! i have only 1 and back to work tmr :(
