trying new dough

haven't been to bugis for a long time and so it was my first visit to the new basement... its starting to look the same for all the malls... my sis commented that it looked like another raffles city. haha.

anyway, something new that i decided tried - D'ough Culture. it like a twist to donuts... has 2 types of dough. the soft buns - more like donuts stuffed with custard and offered more flavours. the crispy crullers - it is 油条, or fried dough fritters, so it is more interesting and different, but less offerings (only had 4 flavours when i was there)
the verdict? its not too bad, but i think the crispy crullers are nicer than the soft buns... still prefer donuts in a way... or maybe because it has custard in every piece... let's hope there will be more flavours for the crispy crullers! :)

Thanks C for the food shot and update, very informative...keke...I've not been to Bugis for ages! Will definitely check it out...one of these days...so near yet so far...45 mins lunch break, what to expect!

you are most welcome... always glad to share new food findings! the rest of the food places are almost the same. oh... there is another place that sells fries with different sauces... go see!
