increase in readership...

hehe... i have increased the number of readers of my blog...

well, basically haven't really shared my blog with my poly clique except for CW... well, the rest didn't ask, and a blog is like a personal diary... so you don't go around asking people to read unless they request right?

anyway... on msn with E last night and she asked for it... so i gave it to her...

then tonight over dinner, G was asking about it too...

so now... i have increased my readership to another 2 readers! haha... well... to E & G... welcome to my blog... and shucks... can't bitch about you two alr! haha...

oct wedding bliss...

all 3 wedding invites have arrived!!!

october is going to be a busy and broke month!!!

first in the list - KN's wedding... since it is a weekday dinner, i must make sure i leave on time... not a difficult thing to do recently :)

next on the list is Jen's wedding... been invited to both the church and dinner...

last but not least - SC's wedding... it might also be the day i have to shift office!!!

its going to be a sweet sweet october!

lunch time!

everyday at work, i look forward to a certain time of the day... lunch time!!!

... its the time i could get out of the office (finally not pretending to be busy)
... its the time i try to arrange for lunch meetings so i spend more time travelling to the outlet and have meetings
... its the time i meet up friends working around shenton (will only last till end of october before we moved to ulu land!)
... its the time i could catch up with more bitching sessions like today!
... its the time closer to 6pm... time to go home... :)

relaxed...

life after kfc... a bit of mixed feelings...

work definitely hasn't been that satisfying... i mean, i am pretty "free" at work... after the opening of my outlet, work has been going slow... well, can't expect the same kind of work required when i was in kfc... who am i kidding... there is only 1 outlet, there isn't any advertising budget, and how many promotions can i run? mermaid said i have "lao lu ming"... likes to be busy... haha... just hoping for more good news from the landlords... once we open more outlets, things will get moving...(keeping fingers crossed)

well, on the bright side... i took this time to organise my social life a little... have been organising gatherings and meet-ups with ex-colleagues and old school mates, able to catch movies (3 movies so far... quite a good record for someone who hasn't been stepping into the cinema unless i had free tickets :p) ... found time to cut my hair... had my mani & pedi done (on a weekday!)...

maybe... the change of job was a signal for me to learn to take it slow... life wasn't just about work... shucks... this is scary... its the turning 30 syndrome...

i am out on a saturday...

hehe... have been staying home for the past 2 weekends... too lazy to get out...

well... had a chance to catch up with the kfc teams - the past and present! hehe... at my ex-boss party for her twins' 1 year birthday... lots of people and babies!!! hehe... i had the first "present" from seaweed's baby... hehe ... he puked a little bit of milk over my shoulder... so should i buy 4D today? hehe... then carried yasmin's son and of course teng teng too... will post pictures when i get them from the various camerawomen!!!

after the party, went to town with J. Neo for some drinks and food and chit chat (ok... i wasn't really full from the scrambled eggs, sausage and pancake breakfast menu at the party) until J. Neo's friend met her. since i was at town alr, i decided to go for my hair cut finally!!! tried my luck to just walk-in without any appointment. lucky to get a slot and voila! i lost abt 1kg of my hair! hehe... a little shorter and layered...

back home at abt 8... hehe... at least i got out of my house!

parcel of happiness

last wednesday, i charged over 130 pounds on my credit card for an online purchase! that is approximately S$400!!! (mermaid - close your mouth as i am sure you are so surprised i will spend so much right!!!)

yesterday, my purchase was sent to my home during office hours, so i had to collect it from the post office. as it was something i am looking for, i skip lunch to go to the post office to collect this huge grey parcel... here's what made me smile from 2pm onwards...

my liverpool euro away jersey with torres' name. although i bought the same size as my previous jersey, this is actually too big... the cut is much bigger (haha... i didn't lose weight)

this cool white jacket that bears the year that liverpool won the first european cup... which coincidentally is the year that i am born...

this baby's first liverpool away kit... it was so adorable... there are 2 babies that can be the recipients... G's baby or JT's baby... and both are baby gals!!! haha... but they have dads who are liverpool fans! haha! will think about it first!

better enjoy this happy moment until my credit card bill comes...

birthdays galore

there are so many birthdays in this quarter!

mummy turned 57 on 31 august... and i ordered this yummy chocolate banana cake from room for desserts... i recommend it for choc lovers! not too sweet, especially since my mummy doesn't like it too sweet.

mermaid turned xx on 3 september (haha... spare you from being reminded of your age). happy belated birthday gal! hope you like the pressie...

seaweed's birthday is also this week, plus the daughters of my ex-boss. towards the end of the month, there are more birthdays...

so... september is a birthday month... october is a wedding month...
